A few weeks prior to the Runway To Hope Spring fashion Soiree, Runway To Hope invited all of our boy models and their families to enjoy a day of fun and activities at this year’s Boys Bash. The day began at the Gap, The Mall at Millenia, where the boys had the chance to shop around Gap trying on clothes and putting together the perfect outfit for their runway appearance. From sunglasses, t-shirts, hats and shoes, each boy got the chance to choose their ideal outfit for their fashion debut.

Once the boys chose their outfits, Finish Line, The Mall at Millenia, opened their doors giving our boy models the opportunity to design their own custom t-shirts to take home with them that day. After all of the shopping and activities were completed, we loaded the boys and their families onto a bus and headed to WonderWorks to continue the fun.

WonderWorks so generously opened their doors to all of the Runway To Hope participants welcoming all of our models and their families to enjoy some delicious pizza and have a few hours of fun with all of the games and activities that WonderWorks has to offer. In addition, all models left with an autographed Jameer Nelson Orlando Magic basketball.

Boys Bash was created to give the children and families affected by pediatric cancer a much needed and well-deserved break from hospitals, doctors, treatment, medicine and the other challenges they endure every day. This day creates a moment for these children where cancer doesn’t have to take center stage in their lives.

A special thanks to Gap, Global Promo, Keisha Francis, Jameer and Imani Nelcon, Mall at Millenia, The Nielsens Photography & Design, Sassafras Sweet Shoppe, UPWARD MEDIA, WonderWorks and all of our volunteers who helped to make this day possible.
